This programme is intended for foreign learners residing in Malta, adults with little or no prior knowledge of Maltese, individuals working in tourism, retail, hospitality, customer services, etc and learners seeking integration into Maltese society.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must:

Have basic English proficiency (MQF Level 1 or equivalent)

Be able to follow instructions and participate in classroom activities in English
No prior knowledge of Maltese is required.

Assessment Methods
Assessments include formative and summative methods such as oral tests, listening and response tasks, reading tests, writing tests, oral practical tasks, and listening and response tasks. Learners must obtain a minimum of 50% per component in order to successfully pass. One resit opportunity per failed component is available. Learners are required to record an attendance of minimum 80%.
